Lesions & Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK and the rate continues to rise. There are 3 main types of skin cancer, namely basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. Ultraviolet exposure and sunbed use are the main and also most preventable risk factors for skin cancer.

Acne & Treatment

Acne vulgaris is one of the most commonly known skin complaints, affecting almost 8 out of 10 people at some point in their lives. It usually affects teenagers and can persist into adulthood as well. The main aim of any treatment for acne is to prevent scarring. Treatment for acne usually takes two forms.
